1.     Cheaper Team / Individual Fees - Our fees are much less expensive than other sport leagues.

2.     Team Registration - FXA understands the difficulty of putting a team together, so we offer Individual and Team Registrations. 

• The Fall 2008 Co-ed Softball League will begin Thursday, Sept 4th. 
• Games will be played on Thursday evenings at a South Lakes High School, Westfields High School, and Rolling Valley Park. 
• The games will be 90 minutes long, with the first game beginning at 6:30pm and the last game ending at 11pm (dependng on the field times)
• Each team shall field ten players, with at least four women on the field at all times.
• The season will consist of 8 regular season games plus playoffs (weather and field permitting). 
• The Team registration fee is $550 before July 7th, and $650 after July 7th.  Registration ends on July 20th. 
• The Individual (free agent) registration is $50 before July 7th, and $60 after July 7th.  Registration ends on July 20th. 
• All registration fees must be paid in full by July 20, 2008.
• Each free agent team will consist of 10 males and 6 females.
• Click on the Register Online Tab to Register.  Registration fees are refundable only at the discretion of Fairfax Athletics  
• Late Registration after July 20, 2008 will be based on League Availability.

• If you would like to be placed on the same team with another individual, there's a question during registration that will allow you to list their name(s). 
   
• Please accurately list your Skill Set (Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert) and Preferrred Position (Pitcher, Infield, outfield, etc) so we can evenly distribute players on each Free Agent team
   
• We need two (2) volunteers to be the Captain and Co-Captain of each Free Agent team, so if you're interested, there's a quesion during registration that will allow you to volunteer 
   
• Each Free Agent team will need a Team Name and Shirt Color, so get creative and have a few ideas ready to suggest to your new team.
